In October 2025, Capgemini SE, a French multinational company specializing in digital and consulting services, announced the appointment of Sanjay Chalke as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Capgemini India. He will assume office from January 1, 2026, succeeding Ashwin Yardi, who will retire as CEO and take on the role of non-executive Chairman.
Main Point :- (i) Sanjay Chalke brings over 25 years of industry experience, with a strong background in leading delivery transformation initiatives for global clients. His expertise spans multiple sectors and strategic program leadership roles.
(ii) Prior to Capgemini, Chalke held senior leadership positions at Siemens, Covansys, and DXC Technologies (formerly CSC), including Global Head for SAP Practice, Application & Solutions, demonstrating his proficiency in large-scale IT and consulting projects.
(iii) Chalke joined Capgemini in 2016 as Vice President, Delivery Transformation, and has since progressed through various leadership roles, including Executive Vice President and Head of Sogeti India. In 2024, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) before being named CEO of Capgemini India.
