UPSC Enters 100th Year; Chairman Dr. Ajay Kumar Launches ‘My UPSC Interview’ Portal and Unveils New Logos in New Delhi.

On October 1, 2025, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) commenced its centenary year, marking 100 years of shaping India’s civil services. During the 99th Foundation Day celebrations held in New Delhi, UPSC Chairman Dr. Ajay Kumar launched a new anecdote portal titled ‘My UPSC Interview: From Dream to Reality’ and unveiled both the new UPSC logo and the centenary logo.


      - The year 2025 marks a historic milestone as the Union Public Service Commission enters its 100th year since its establishment in 1926. Over the decades, UPSC has played a pivotal role in building India’s administrative framework by selecting and nurturing officers dedicated to national governance and public service.

      - As part of the centenary celebrations, Dr. Ajay Kumar launched a new digital initiative—‘My UPSC Interview’—aimed at collecting real-life experiences of civil servants, both serving and retired, who appeared before the UPSC Interview Board. The portal serves as an inspiration for future aspirants and a record of personal journeys in civil services.

      - Through the newly launched portal, UPSC invites contributions from current and former civil servants who wish to share their stories of determination and achievement. Interested individuals can submit their entries online until December 31, 2025, making this a nationwide storytelling initiative reflecting India’s bureaucratic evolution.

Main Point :-   (i) The redesigned UPSC logo features the National Emblem at its center, representing authority and service to the nation. Surrounding it is a wreath of banyan leaves, signifying wisdom, endurance, and resilience.

      (ii) At the base, a ribbon inscribed with ‘Sangh Lok Seva’ in Hindi underscores the commission’s ethos of duty, accountability, and dedication to the public.

(iii) The newly unveiled Centenary Logo features a flowing wave motif, symbolizing UPSC’s century-long journey of progress, adaptability, and continuity. The design culminates in the number ‘100’, with the UPSC logo positioned within the final zero—representing its enduring legacy and commitment to excellence in public service over the last century.
