Every year, the Rabha tribal community in India's northeastern state of Assam celebrates the 'Baikho festival' to please a deity of wealth and ask for good rains and a good harvest. Rabha tribal women in traditional attire take part in a tug of war competition with men during Baikho festival at Gamerimura village along the Assam Meghalaya border, west of Guwahati. It is annually celebrated in the month of June across the state of Assam. Rabhas are a Tibeto-Burman community.
